Snap Printed (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use snapprinted.co.uk, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number, and the photos you upload to be printed. If you contact us or create an account, we also collect the details you provide (name, email, and any message content).
How we use it
- To process, print, and deliver your order
- To communicate with you about your order (confirmations, shipping updates, and any issues)
- To respond to enquiries sent through our contact form
- To create and manage your account, if you choose to create one
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
With your consent (via the checkbox at checkout), we may also feature photos of your finished order on our social media. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us — see Contact, below.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third parties to run our store and never sell your data. These include:
- Stripe and PayPal — to securely process payments. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Royal Mail — to deliver your order.
- IONOS — our website hosting provider, based in the UK/EU.
Photos you upload
Photos you upload are used solely to print your order. We keep a copy for a reasonable period after your order is fulfilled in case of reprints, quality queries, or disputes, and then delete it. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than fulfilling your order, unless you’ve separately given consent for social media use as described above.
Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies to make the shop, cart, and checkout work correctly (for example, remembering what’s in your basket). We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies beyond what’s needed to run the store.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@snapprinted.co.uk.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
